OK. So you've heard about Apps for Mobile devices. And you've heard about the millions that some app developers have gained with utilities, games, or tools. Which platform should be built? And why?
According to the survey, about 90% of mobile applications are attributed to iPhone Apps. The total spend on applications went up to $ 4.2 billion in 2009, which amounted to 2.5 billion downloads per year for the year. As smartphones and related devices become more popular, Apple's dominant dominance in the market is expected to challenge Android Apps.
There are 100 million Android mobile devices worldwide, with 400,000 new devices activated each day. Explosive growth means that it is estimated that currently 200,000 Android applications are likely to reach the iPhone Apps number. Other app stores are also available: Motion App App Black for BlackBerry, Nokia Ovi Store and Microsoft Windows Phone Marketplace.
iPhone Apps Platform
If iPhone is snooty, here are some of the reasons for developing iPhone applications:
1. Only a limited number of devices – the iPhone or iPad – should take care of it. There are not many types of phones and screen sizes. So you do not have to test applications on a variety of devices.
2nd The free iPhone software development kit (SDK) facilitates development work. Development can be done with Objective-C.
3rd App Store – Get a list of applications and Apple will provide you with storage, credit card processing, download, and notification updates for your updates. Apple reviews and filters the inclusion of apps, which means you have to make sure your app is of good quality before it can be accepted and launched.
Android Apps and Other Platforms
On the other hand, there are compelling reasons that may occur on other platforms, such as Android:
1. Platforms like Android are an open source Linux based platform. This means anyone can access the system's leading code. You can find out about your operating system and APIs. There is currently no censorship for your App for any specialized device manufacturer or service provider.
2nd Android is developed using Java, a powerful and widely used language.
3rd For some developers, it's easier for apps to approve on Android Market, as there is no lengthy approval process.
Whatever platform you choose to trigger revenue-generating capabilities, consider developing apps seriously. How do you start? Well, this is the subject of another article.
