On December 7, 2009, Acer will release a new Acer Liquid smartphone in the UK. Initially, Acer Liquid is only available in white, but the red and black phone will soon follow in early 2010. Liquid has a 5MB flash-memory camera with auto focus and geotagging. This smartphone allows users to check and update Facebook status, YouTube, Flickr, and other social networking in real time. Liquid also allows users to synchronize with Outlook e-mail, contacts and calendar for easy access to addresses and important days. Not only can Acer Liquid be synced to Outlook, but it can be synchronized with any Windows PC that has a Wi-Fi connection.
Acer Liquid will come with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor that will clock at 768MHz. Included is a 3D chip, which asks the user to test incredible speed and amazing 3D graphics. The Liquid will come with standard Google Android 1.6, but will later be updated to 2.0. Updates will be available to all those who purchase the smartphone before Android 2.0 is available. Acer Liquid also comes with 256 MB of RAM. It's like having a small computer in your palm. You can access multimedia files on Liquid with the help of nemoPlayer. For those who want to transfer music, you're lucky. The Liquid is also equipped with Spinlets on music services.
The sleek design of Liquid is functional and attractive. The touchscreen measures 3.5 inches and gives the user enough space to enter the appropriate buttons. The touchscreen offers high definition that proves advanced technology and beauty can actually exist. The Liquid A1 is the first smartphone to combine the power of Snapdragon and Android. It's a combination that tries to shine in the race.
With VGA touchscreen, users can watch movies in captivating HD. But that's not all. Acer Liquid also allows the user to upload their own videos on YouTube with speed. The high-speed capability provides users with instant access to the internet, and on music and video.
Soon after Acer Liquid is released, the app store will open. The Liquid promises to have tons of useful and fun applications for users. Apps will contain games, maps, web applications, and even professional-style applications with a number of templates.
Regardless of the high tech and beauty of the smartphone, it will also contain some logical and well-needed updates over the old Acer phone. New and better power management promises to keep your smartphone running for longer, giving it a longer battery life. This will allow users to talk, play games or surf the web for a long time.
Acer Liquid looks like it will be a great Android handset. The sleek design appeals to fashion junkies, but to hide all the wonderful technical data inside. The Acer Liquid seems to have all the basics of the smartphone for the future being discussed.
