Real meaning analysis of Magnolia

Warning: This article contains an analysis of the Magnolia film and contains many spoilers.

Anyone who watched the Magnolia's highly acclaimed film was not noticeable, perhaps made a terrifying feeling from the theater, but probably an endless confusion, especially with a frog shower.

The Bible 8: 2 is a key element in the interpretation of the true meaning of the film. The most obvious reference to the scene was before the start of the quiz show. They see a woman with a sign that is clearly written in "Exodus 8: 2", but she will soon be safely accompanied by the audience.

And here's the 8: 2 [2] –

And Lord spoke Moses: Go to Pharaoh, and say unto him, Then saith the LORD, Let my people leave me to serve me.
And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will kill all your borders with frogs.

Another important piece of the puzzle is Dixon, the young boy who, after discovering the murders, flies to Jim. Below is a detail of Dixon rap:

Make sure the ego, come down, I'm the Prophet,

You live to grow old with a tile.

Run from the devil, but the debt is always getting bigger,

When the sun does not work, the good Lord brings rain.

Dixon calls himself a "Prophet" but could have interpreted God's extension. After losing Jim's weapon, the gun in the frog shower falls with the frogs from the sky, indicating that the boy had some control over the events.

The second and third rows of rap warn Jim that he is moving higher ("older"), but there is something he has to bear. Dixon tells Jim that what he is doing is not right and warns him to stop. However, Jim doesn't listen to the rapper as the Pharaoh of Egypt did not listen to Moses. This message is not just for Jim, but it symbolizes the fault of the other characters. The last line warns that if God ignores it, it will rain.

An important key note is that the characters all recognize the mistake, but they don't seem to reach them. For example, Claudia is addicted to cocaine, but nothing can stop her, Linda's terrible judge on Earl's cheating, and tries to take her name out of her will, but she doesn't even know, and even Earl has used her last breath to admit her son and wife and apologizes to Frank, but he doesn't get one.

Rain of frogs means God's wake-up call to everyone. The rain of frogs – the extremely strange, almost absurd – was the way God told everyone that they were wrong and had sinned. However, the shower is that you are always listening to the world and can help you when you need help. After the fall of the frogs, the characters seem to be in peace with the problems and failed, or failed with the example of Jimmy Gator's death. This shows that although God is there to help, not everything is always working perfectly, and there are always those who are punished instead of saving.

Please note that this is not an official interpretation, and the frog shower scene is the most discussed topic in the film world. Accept my own interpretation and prepare your own opinion on the matter, which is probably what PT Anderson writer intended.
