The latest Nokia E72 is still another BlackBerry device from giant telephone equipment and Nokia seems to continue to soften the growing demand for such devices in the market. The E72 is a follow-up to the E71 that was released last year and comes with some upgrades like enhanced software and better camera. This comes with a 2.36-inch TFT screen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution plus the full QWERTY keypad. The keypad looks good with different keys and should help text and mail. The phone integrates with e-mail servers and trading systems such as Microsoft Exchange, apart from mail software such as Hotmail and Gmail. Messages can be sent and received in the form of SMS, MMS, Email and Chat. Also included are fiber optic card and speedometer that facilitates automatic rotational speed.
The Nokia E72 is a compatible S60 device and runs on a 600 MHz processor from ARM that ensures high speed and response time. Apart from 128MB of RAM, the device includes an internal memory of 250MB of storage that can be easily expanded to 16GB using an external microSD card. The phonebook in this handset allows you to store unlimited contacts and fields and also records for dialed, received and missed calls for a whole month. This Class32 GPRS device comes with a built-in WAP 2.0 / xHTML, HTML web browser that enables users to access mobile phones. Wi-Fi enables your device to access all local area networks or to synchronize with a laptop or computer, but Bluetooth helps to ensure convenient data transfer between compatible devices.
Interestingly, the Nokia E72 also includes a 5 mega pixel camera with resolution 2592 x 1944 pixels and features like auto focus and LED flash. The music player that can handle MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, AAC and M4A file formats becomes highly versatile. The music can be reproduced either in the speaker or on any standard earphone that can be connected to the 3.5 mm audio stick. The video player, however, can play WMV, RV, MP4 and 3GP. And the entertainment does not stop there. Strong FM radio with RDS feature is also included so users can listen to favorite radio stations.
Within the Nokia N72 is just a mobile phone phone that also supports 3G network 3G networks. 3G allows to download high speed data through HSDPA at a rate of 10.2 Mbps. Released in October 2009, this handset is now available in interesting color schemes of Zodiac Black, Metal Gray and Topaz Brown. Other important and useful features that have been added to this ensemble include Digital Compass, Document Editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), Flash Lite v3.0, Push to talk, Voice Command / Dial, Organizer, and Nokia Maps 3.0 applications. The standard Li-Po 1500 mAh battery proves to be very efficient with talk time of 6 hours and standby time of up to 576 hours while using the 3G service. Given the fact that the previous E-Series models – E71 and E63 have been well-matched to the people, we can only expect E72 to be a good company.
