Ever since the iPhone was officially launched and everyone discovered the amazing capabilities of the system, it has been a challenge for those wonderful third parties who would start to come up with ways to play games on the iPhone. Well, today your prayers have been answered, although I have to admit that it is not perfect yet in any way.
The third developer has come up with a contender for iPhone that lets you play a variety of games from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It is true that the system that bought you the glorious beginning of Super Mario Bros.
The list of games featured on this "pocket NES" is so far rather solid and offers such classic titles as Super Mario Bros. , Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Mega Man 2 … and that's just the beginning.
Now keep in mind that the process of getting this all set up is not exactly easy, and even if you get it done correctly, there are still some flaws. This is a brand new contender for brand new "console", so it's bound to imperfections at this early stage. However, updates are made on a regular basis and I have heard that Legend of Zelda ROM is almost the level of the original Cult Classic.
To do all of this, you need to crack iPhone with apps like Jailbreak … which is not something Apple returns or supports, and it might well void your warranty with them. From now on, I do not think it was illegal illegal decided was not encouraged by the company. Do it at your own risk.
But if you're ready to take the risk, you might have Mario kicking around the tunnel directly on the iPhone. The interface is a bit slow now, but it's a beauty representation of the original. The touch screen system in iPhone allows for a fully functional and accurate version of the original NES controller. When kinks and bugs get okay, this could be very popular.
