HTC HD2 – Smartphone With Amazing Features

HTC HD2 is a smartphone with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system. It runs on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor and has 576 MB RAM making it one of the fastest devices in the market.

HTC HD2 comes with a large 4.3-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen that supports 480×800 resolution and up to 65k colors. The phone uses a HTC SENSE user interface that looks great and easy to use. The speedometer allows you to change the direction of the display by tilting the phone. Other features include a proxy sensor to turn off the display automatically, select to turn off and multi-touch input.

HTC HD2 has a stunning 5 mega pixel camera that allows users to capture high resolution images up to 2592 X 1944 pixels. Video recording of VGA resolution at 30 frames per second is also supported. Other camera features include geo-tagging, digital zoom, auto focus, dual LED flash, etc. There is, however, no extension camera for video recording. The handset supports Class 12 GPRS at speeds of 32-48 kbps, Class 12 EDGE, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 2 Mbps and Wifi. To connect to other phones or computers, there are also Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and microUSB features.

HTC HD2 offers a variety of multimedia features. Music player that supports MP3 / WAV / WMA / eAAC + files and video players that support MP4 / WMV / H.264 / H.263 files. Users can also listen to Stereo FM radio with RDS. T-Mobile takes the multimedia features of the phone with MobiTV, BLOCKBUSTER, Barnes & Nobl services. The very popular Transformers 1 and Transformers 2 movies are preloaded on the phone.

In today's world when everyone wants to access the internet on the go, HD2 users do not have to carry a laptop with them. The phone has a browser that allows you to access the internet as you usually do on a computer. Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Myspace are directly integrated as applications. A dedicated YouTube app allows easy access to online videos. Office tasks can also be done on the phone through the Pocket Office app. The Pocket Office app allows users to view and edit MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, One Note and PDF files.

HTC HD2 has a standard Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery that offers standby time of up to 480 hours and talked about 6 hours.
