You can combine iBooks on iPad with your computer using iTunes. First, you need to open iTunes and connect the iPad to your computer. This allows you to transfer books purchased on iBooks on iPad. The advantage of doing this is to keep a copy of your book on your computer just if it is deleted on your iPad.
1) On iTunes, select "File"
2) Select "Transfer Purchases From the iPad"
One of the advantages of storing books on your computer is the increased flash flash on your iPad. If you are a cruel reader and with a large eBook collection, you can save iPad space by downloading the books you have read on your desktop.
1) Click on your iPad name in the left hand panel (ie, iTunes Source List).
2) Click the "Books" tab in the main iTunes panel.

To add ePub books and.pdf files:
1) In iTunes click "File"
2) Click "Add Library"
3) When the file is added click on "sync" 19659002] 4) iTunes will not load eBook on iPad. You can find these files in the iBook app.
Amazon Kindle & Barnes & Noble Nook
For those who have Amazon Kindle or Barnes & Noble Nook, you can read those books on the iPad by downloading free Kindle and Nook readers from the App Store. With Kindle and your nook you will find many free books, but you will have to pay for most contemporary versions.
