When jitter jams appear, a warning message appears on the display. See the instructions below to find and remove jam
IMPORTANT – When removing paper, it is done without tearing. Lack of paper to the left will be harder to remove. * NOTE: Follow the instructions for the location of a solid paper. If paper is not located in the intended area, go to the next connected area within the machine.
Multi Purpose Tray
When you are in the mood, you must open and close the door before the error message disappears. To print with the Multi-Purpose tray and the machine detects that there is no paper or it has been improper loaded. Follow steps
Check if the lacquer is caught, if it gripped it with both hands and gently and slowly pull it towards you.
If you do not find the jammed sheet or if it is resistant to removing the sheet, stop dragging, close the versatile tray, and go to step two.
Remove the paper tray from the machine and lay on a smooth surface
When removing the paper tray, always keep the tray horizontal until it has been cleaned
from the machine. Failure to do so can cause a tray detector to slip.
Release and lift the inner cover by pushing two green lifts.
With the "inner cover" in the heated position, take the sheet evenly and carefully until it is clear from the tray.
Replace the back cover into the machine and make sure the tray is horizontal.
If you can not find any paper in this area, go to step fourth.
Paper Feed Area
If a jam is in the feeding area; Follow the next steps to release a solid paper.
IMPORTANT – The four OPC devices [green imaging rollers] are light sources and are affected when exposed to light. DO NOT store the front door for long periods.
Use the handle open the door and leave it open completely.
Solid paper in this area should be exposed to one of the green cameras.
Grip the sheet evenly on both edges and remove by gently pulling. It is important to avoid tearing it so as to remove it carefully and slowly.
IMPORTANT – DO NOT rush to remove solid paper. It is important not to tear the paper so that it is difficult to retrieve paper.
Close the door well and the machine will continue printing.
If you can not find the paper that is stuck or if there is some resistance to removing paper, stop dragging and go to step five. Rollers are light sensitive!
Close the door.
Remove the paper tray.
Start paper tray with the slot and slide it back into the machine.
Open the front cover [door] and close it. The machine will continue printing.
If paper is stuck in the microscope unit stage, follow the next steps to release a solid paper.
The fuser is hot when removing solid paper from this area and protecting the machine to cool for approximately. 5 minutes.
Raise the top cover until it is fully extended. [Note: Clearing jams in this area are also covered by the decal under the cover]
Open the inner cover using the handle.
With the "inner cover" that appears, the microscope will be visible. The fuser will be hot, monitors the high temperature warning signal.
Hold the cover over the fuser and lift two green "pieces of paper" that sit at each end.
Some paper stuck in the Fuser will be visible, remove carefully by making sure not to tear and cause paper fractures in the fuser.
] Change both green trucks in their operating condition
IMPORTANT – All pieces of paper left in some "paper jam areas" will cause the message to appear again when the machine is switched on. If paper is not stuck in this area, follow step seven
Paper Exit Area
If paper is jammed in the paper exit area, follow the next steps to skip the paper.
[Paperback exit area] is that part of the machine where copied / printed paper escapes the console.
If the long section of the paper is visible from the front of the output area, drag it straight out.
Open and close the door firmly and the machine will continue printing. If there is no paper jam in this area or if there is any resistance to removing paper, stop pulling and proceed to the next procedure.
Open the top cover / scanner unit.
Open the cover on the back cover using the handle on it.
Carefully remove the paper from
In case of resistance to removing paper or difficulty grabbing the paper, stop pulling and turning green "release wheels" to remove all trapped paper.
Close the cover of the "reverse unit". If you do not find a fixed paper in the exit, or if resistance is stopped, move to the next step.
Back of the machine, study the door.
If paper is visible, remove and check paper that may be stuck in other parts of the machine. • When all paper has been removed, close the back cover and continue printing.
