Digital TV Models 2011 – Features Explained

This year, new concepts have emerged from four major suppliers describing the characteristics of their digital televisions.

Labeling featuring such features as Motionflow XR800, Clear Motion Quality and Performance The memory solution has replaced traditional 50Hz, 100Hz and 200Hz refresh labeling – the same as when the industry did away with the millisecond response period a few years ago.

The introduction of Smart TV has seen a wide range of features featured on the screen that appear on the showroom – from Wi-Fi, Skype, Video Demand, Viera Connect, Bigpond TV to the video and search all.

Other common features Include Passive 3D, Active 3D, Opti-Contrast Panel, USB Recording, Time Machine Ready and Bending Glass, to name a few.

Features related to Motion Samsung – Clear Motion Rate Samsung has left E. Traditional update measurement and instead of the "Clearance" tag, select the number for each of their LEDs.

Usually we are used to get an update ratio, like 100Hz, which refers only to the Display Renewal. Samsung says that the upgrade ratio is only part of the picture quality during fast tents, as it is clear that an animation is formed by three factors: chip, television channel and backlight.

Renewal Fees Only Determine The number or frames drawn on the screen per second, but clear motion refers to the ability of the television to draw this frame correctly.

Example – Samsung Series 8 LED has Clear Motion 800 Rating, while Series 7 LED has Clear Motion 600 Rating. Although the upgrade is 200Hz in both types, the 8th row is better with a chip and backlight, which means that the speed of the video is clearer.

Sony – Motionflow XR Similar to Samsung, Sony has launched this year's Motion Quality Survey instead of upgrading rapidly. Sony says that their Motionflow technology creates smooth, detailed animations for sports or features. Motionflow combines image delimitation, Frame Creation and backlit technology. This three-tier technology is how Sony manages motion models from model to model.

Example – Sony's HX820 range has an LED Motionflow XR400 rating, while the HX925 LED has a Motionflow XR800 rating. Although the upgrade is 200Hz in both models – the HX925 combines this with backlight flashing up to 600 times per second, while 200x per second in HX820, which makes the movement more clear.

Panasonic – Moving Picture Resolution

Panasonic has shown both the upgrade rate and what they are classified as "Moving Picture Resolution". Just like Sony and Samsung, the video resolution is a measure that basically bases on how well the TV channel is about motion. The higher the number, the less blur that is added to the display on the screen.

Example – Panasonic's ST30 range of plasma has an animated resolution of 1080 lines and panel speed is 600Hz subwoofer. By comparison, the U30 interface in plasma, which also has 600Hz subfloor, has lower motion resolution 900 lines, which means that the motion of the U30 will not be as clear as the ST30.

Panasonic, Samsung and LG – 600Hz Subfield Motion

What 600Hz subway race does, with 50Hz source like how our Australian television is broadcast, is divided into 12 separate frames or "subcategories" And Then show them on screen. This means that 12 subcategories per frame at 50Hz (frames per second) generate 600 frames per second (50×12 = 600). The more subcategories you have, the more accurate the color output and the reduced image quality.
