At the beginning of the year, Apple tried to fully open the gates and put the smartwatch in the flag zone, which is really a major interest in the new device.
While the Grayscale is about functionality and simplicity, Apple Watch feels much more friendly and tries to get people involved, not just a passive device that you remember only during time and email checking.
But did you really handle that, Apple Watch is worth buying? Yes and no. Smartwatches can be the future of smartphones, and Apple Watch has a number of interesting features that give an insight into the things to do.
In addition, it works like a miracle now, especially thanks to its updated software. So if you want a gadget that monitors heart rate, tracks steps, listening to music, sending animated emoji, ordering messages, watching notifications, sending heartbeat to loved ones, and much more, you will appreciate the Apple clock.
Helping you to look less on your phone while you're in touch, but do not forget it's not a standard tool. To enjoy all your features, you need to connect to an iPhone (the phone must be about 30 feet away or connect via WiFi to extend the range).
Now, take a closer look at what Apple Watch offers!
Apple Watch is undoubtedly an attractive wristwatch with discreet and elegant look, with clear lines and a curved glass that joins the curved metal. Yeah, you do not find any sharpness.
The case is made of stainless steel (also made of gold or aluminum) and is rather dense, but as it bends inward, it looks thinner than it actually is. Most Smartphones are hit by the problem, and unfortunately, we have to accept that smartwatch technology has not developed as much as we want.
However, Apple Watch feels that it is reasonably balanced (1.5 pounds and measures 0.4×1.4×1.6 or 0.4×1.3×1.5 inches) and if you have been watching it earlier, you probably will not feel the thickness of compromise. The clock falls into two versions, one and a half to one inches. This difference was made so that both males and females would be relieved, but larger ones would have better battery life.
On the right side of the Watch, you'll find the Digital Crown and the buttons that you can show or hide your friends, double-click to access Apple Pay and turn on or off the clock.
At the bottom of the clock there is a heart rate sensor and a magnetic inductive charging system (Qi-compliant). There is also a tiny loudspeaker and microphone on the Watch side of the call, but you will hardly notice them.
Yes, Apple Watch looks better than most smartwatches on the market, but it spends much more.
Apple Watch received three straps, the Black Sport Band, the Milan loop and the leather loop. The sports bar is very comfortable, but similar to other plastic bands on other smartphones and has a unique folding mechanism that you did not get used to.
The Milan loop is a mesh-like texture and nicely complements the metal case, but it feels much more feminine than any other hinge option. Flexible, comfortable, easy to adjust and suitable for both casual and classic clothing. The clip is magnetic and locked (because the bracelet is very light, it might be better if the band is looser, so it balances with the weight of the watch).
The leather loop bracelet is magnetically closed, using magnetic segments that connect to each other. But there are some shortcomings, as after a few days of use we noticed some scratches on the clutch and we can find ourselves in a position to adjust the strap during the day as it slides one or two bonds simultaneously.
Apple Watch includes a 1.5 "(or 1.3" 38mm) OLED display with a resolution of 312×390 pixels (or 272x340p) and 326ppi pixel density of iPhone 6). The Retina display is a little different to the iPhone, because Apple has chosen a flexible OLED from LG instead of standard LCD technology.
The display is covered with a hardened Ion-X glass (Apple Watch Sport) or a sapphire glass, both of which protect against scratches or tiny debris to furniture.
The OLED screen is bright and colorful with high color accuracy and overall, and this is one of the brightest displays we've seen from any smartphone, but not as sharp as the Samsung Gear S (which also has a much larger color palette).
But focus on Force Touch technology (something new in the smartwatch world) that detects the power, distinguishing light or hard presses due to its small electrodes around the display.
This is an interesting add-on that adds additional options and features to some applications without adding additional buttons or overconfigurating things.
Apple Watch 500 MHz Apple S1 processor, PowerVR SGX543 GPU, 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB storage space (connected to iPhone, fully access memory to memory).
The clock also has an impulse speed sensor that uses infrared and visible light LEDs and photodiodes to determine the heart rate. there is a gyro, an accelerometer and unfortunately there is no built-in GPS.
The inside of the case has a 205mAh (or 246mAH) lithium-ion battery. It promises 18 hours of operation at normal use, 6 hours of music playback or work with the heart monitor, 3 hours of talk time and 48 hours of control time. The software running on Apple Watch software is called WatchOS 2.0 (upgraded version is the tallest first generation) and, in order to be fully functional, Apple Watch requires an iPhone 5 or later.
The clock is used for a long time and offers a better experience when used in less time, especially because some applications are a bit sluggish and not a lot of complex applications are being developed (Facebook or any other Google app on Apple Watch's small screen may prove undesirable in the long term).
Now let's talk about the surface. If you move, you'll see notifications and glances at the lessons, and if you press the digital crown, you can access the apps. There is no doubt that there is a learning curve, but some days after using the clock, things have become accustomed to doing things.
Hour views have many new options (since the new update), allowing you to change color, add or remove new items.
In addition to regular notifications and viewers, you choose one of the screens with quick summaries of frequently viewed apps. To access Glances, you can either skip the clock or ask Siri to open it for you, even if it's not in the active look list.
Faces and glances look pretty good at Apple Watch, but there are a lot more. Get Taptic Engine, an innovative feature that comes through the wrist when you receive a notification so you will not miss anything important, you can navigate while navigating, you can tap your wrist several times to the left or right, or use the digital touch.
Digital Touch is a unique way of messaging that works exclusively between Apple Hours and allows you to send teams, fingerprints, or heart rate counts.
Apple Pay is similar (as is the iPhone), which is a really great feature if you find places that accept this type of payment. What do you have to be able to buy goods or services with a single hour of a pay-per-view terminal? (The two buttons on the button match the card). It works without the iPhone.
In addition to the variety of applications and features, this versatile camera has a remote control that allows you to preview iPhone's search engine and even focus, set a timer, or launch the lock.
So how did Apple Watch experience with us so far? Well, that was not too different from any other smartphone. You get the answers, it allows you to keep your watch in your pocket, unless this is something important, discreet, hips, unlike the ringtone and overall. friends and family are much more attractive because we're less looking at our phone and focusing more on the conversation.
The obvious conclusion is that Apple Watch is not necessarily a necessary tool, but if you can afford it, you can make life a little bit smaller.
