4 Categories of Ecommerce

Ecommerce or eBusiness are transactions or other sales terms that are made electronically. This involves buying, selling and exchanging a product or service for exchanging money with computer systems such as the internet. Contrary to popular belief, ecommerce is not only on the web. Indeed, ecommerce has existed and has been successful in trading from 70s to trading through EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) through Value Added Networks. Ecommerce can be broken into four main categories B2B, B2C, C2B and C2C.

B2B (Business-to-Business)

B2B has decided to deal with companies Who are doing business with each other. An example of this is the manufacturers who sell their product to distributors and wholesalers sell it to retailers.

• B2C (Business to Consumer)

Business-to-Consumer

The consumer usually involves selling goods and services to Public or consumer by using brochures that utilize software software. B2B can easily get a lot of money; On the other hand, B2C is what actually is considered by average customers when it comes to ecommerce as a whole. With the help of ecommerce, you can easily buy many items on time without having human interaction. An example of this if you find it hard to find a book when you need to buy a custom computer system, or find a first-rate, all-inclusive trip to a tropical paradise island. That way, ecommerce can help you buy the products all at the same time.

• C2B (Consumer-to-Business)

An example of C2B is when a consumer sends his or her projects or projects on the Internet and a website. The consumer puts an online budget as many companies look into the requirements the consumer needs and then offer the project. It strengthens customers around the world by providing a venue and platform for that particular business.

• C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer)

For C2C, eBay is. It is where consumers sell their products to other consumers by offering. That way, the one who offers the highest purchase of the product. Another example is that a website offers free classified ads, auctions and forums where consumers can buy and sell products to other consumers. They use PayPal as an online payment system, since they can send and receive money with ease online.

It is another form of ecommerce that is B2E or a businessman businessman. Here are companies using an internal network to offer their employees products and services online.

Other forms of ecommerce are G2G (Government to Government), G2E (Government to Employee), G2B (Government), G2B (Government to Corporate) B2G (Government to Government), G2C (Government to Citizens), C2G (Citizen to Government). These transactions mainly involve the government, from procurement for application of taxes to trade registration for renewal of licenses. There are still plenty of other categories available, but then they tend to be superfluous.
