3 Different Types of Screen Protector

Plastic or glass protector is a perfect solution to minimize damage to all types of electronic devices. Screen savers come in several different materials to enhance the ability to provide the right protection and reduce problems with unwanted markings or scratches on the screen. Here are three different types of screen savers:

PET Film

The PET film is one of the most common options on the market and can provide a lot of useful benefits. This type provides a reliable solution to protect the display at a relatively low price. In addition, there are many different types of protection products in this category that vary from plain and dull scratches. The very positive PET film is the ease of installation and transportation, as well as high transparency for clear viewing. But this film has a negative effect on the fingerprint and provides minimal protection in case of impact.

For more resistance to tags, scratches or fingerprints, the matte PET image is the preferred option. This film, however, can show a slight decrease in screen quality.

The purpose of floating screen protector is to give a portable device long term protection against scratches as a result of normal wear and tear, dust repels and delivers the screen emotionally. One application of this nanohologic technique is said to provide protection for up to 6 months. Additionally, this type of screen protector has the potential to provide twice the protection of traditional movies, but is also resistant to water flow and provide anti-static properties.

Floating screen protection products are more practical on Oleophobic coated or gorilla glass devices and do not significantly affect the device with a regular tempered glass screen.

Thick glass

The tempered glass screen protector is a sturdy option compared to thin (about 0.1 mm), plastic selection. The hardened glass has a thickness of 0.3-0.5 mm and gives a feeling that is almost the same as the original screen. Some of the great features of this protection are the elbow skin (reduces spots or fingerprints) and more protective effects. The installation process is also much easier than using the plastic film. The smoothness of the glass cover is the thickness, which is pronounced on certain devices and could cause aesthetic problems for some users.
